George Washington Wilson (G.W. Wilson) was a prominent Victorian photographer and a pioneer of landscape photography and mass production techniques, operating his highly successful firm from Aberdeen. His collection of over 40,000 glass plate negatives captures life in Scotland, the UK, and beyond in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. His work included royal commissions from Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, who was an early patron. This book is one of a series that covered various areas of the country such as Dunkeld. This is a rare book and a first edition. The binding to the cover boards is becoming loose. One page is loose (see photographs) The actual pages of the book are in very good condition for age.
